The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

I anticipated this would be a good book, but I think I underestimated just how good it would be.
The story is told from a narrative point of view. It is beautiful, haunting, magical and poignant.
I do not want to do an indepth review as I do not want to spoil it for potential new readers.
It is definitely one of the best books I have read so far this year!
